DVR has stopped recording

"MY DVR IS NOT RECORDING"
1. When you're looking at the cameras live, do you see any red letters on the screen such as a red M, H, or R?
Next to the number 1, what does it say?
Change OVERWRITE to enabled. Now you should see the red HDD light flashing.
What is the Rec. Mode set to?
Each of those boxes stands for an hour of the day so it's 7 days a week, 24 hours a day in military time (0-23). If the schedule is all black, the DVR is not set to record at all. Make sure that Channel is set to ALL or Channel 1.
If everything looks good, Apply and then Copy to All & Apply on the Record menu.
6. If your record mode is set to schedule and all of those boxes are red, we must now verify that the DVR's motion function is enabled by going to
The DVR is recording if the red HDD light is flashing on the front of the box and you see a red R or red M on the screen.
Make sure that the date is for today's date then select SEARCH. You must always hit search first, otherwise the DVR will not display results.
Now the DVR will populate the file list. You can either go down to File List to see all of the videos recorded on that date or you can select the date and time on the Playback menu.
